Jeannette’s yoga practice sequencing is amazing! Yoga
students sometimes ask for a physical focus (hips,
hams, shoulders, etc.) during practice, without being
mindful of what the spirit may be craving. She has a
unique way of listening to students and sequencing a
practice that resonates with their souls and bodies to
create a sense of oneness with the universe.
For example, after one class, Jeannette gently pointed
out to me that I had a lot of tension in my shoulders
and, therefore, my throat chakra. In addition to
recommending asana, she encouraged me to “speak my
truth.” I am thankful that she had the courage and
concern to approach me. Although I had not directly
mentioned it, she had very perceptively sensed that I
was suppressing something, namely a conversation that
I had been avoiding with a loved one.
The same gift for helping people find their truth also
comes through in her astrology services. I was truly
touched by the way that Jeannette used my chart as a
tool to help me explore different aspects of my life.
For instance, I have been struggling with whether I
should relocate. I explored my uncertainty with
Jeannette while going through my chart. With
compassion and without offering any judgments,
Jeannette encouraged me to explore the truth behind my
reason for moving. With her help, I realized that I
felt so uncertain about relocating because my true
reason for moving was forcing myself to hurry up and
make a career change. My work with Jeannette helped
me realize that I am already taking important steps on
my intended path that are helping me build the courage
necessary to change careers. She helped me realize
that although relocating may temporarily satisfy my
impatience, it will not change the path that I need to
take.
